End of Phase 2 Checklist By the time you complete Phase 2, you will be ready to start working on the detail that sits behind the high-level priorities, outcomes and activities. The following checklist will help you decide whether you are ready to move onto Phase 3: Build your Gender Strategy. Tool 6: Phase 2 Checklist Does your Vision set out your aspiration for gender equality? Does your Purpose Statement describe what your NHRI will strive to do in order to  achieve your vision? Have you identified between three (3) and five (5) Strategic Priorities that establish where you will concentrate your efforts over the period of the gender strategy? Does one of the priorities you have chosen focus on gender equality within your NHRI’s culture and operations? Do your Long-term Outcomes articulate the changes you want to make, and impact you want to have? Do your outcomes meet the SMARTA test? Will your high-level indicators effectively measure your progress? Do  your High-level Actions identify the steps that need to be taken to progress toward your outcomes? Does your Strategic Framework have a logical progression from vision & purpose  to strategic priorities, outcomes, actions and indicators? Have you received approval by the Board and/or Senior Leadership to continue on to  the next stage of your strategy development? Have you updated your Core and Key Stakeholders on your progress?
