In light of these, SUHAKAM recently adopted the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan. With this five-year plan, SUHAKAM emphasises the formulation of concrete, tangible strategies and activities through research, position papers, roundtable discussions, and other activities to address racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia, within the next five years. SUHAKAM hopes that one day soon, there will be a culture of understanding and respect for human rights, regardless of race, religion, background, or status throughout the country, amongst all people, young and old, or those who are privileged or marginalised. Finally, SUHAKAM acknowledges and records our appreciation to the late Datuk Liew Vui Keong for his dedication and effort.
