Article 27. Assisting the Human Rights Ombudsman in the implementation
of his duties
1. The state bodies, local self-governance bodies in villages and
settlements (Jamoats) or officials shall provide the Human Rights
Ombudsman with assistance in realization of his duties, freely and without
obstruction provide the requested materials and documents, other information
necessary for performance of his duties.
2. The requested materials and documents and other information shall be
sent to the Human Rights Ombudsman no later than 15 days from the day of
receiving the inquiry, unless the different period is stated in the inquiry.
3. The Human Rights Ombudsman shall be provided with the regulatory
and legal acts adopted by Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of
Tajikistan, Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of
Tajikistan, President and Government of the Republic of Tajikistan,
documents, other information and reference materials officially disseminated
by state bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Article 28. The procedure of providing the Human Rights Ombudsman with
information protected by the law.
1. The submission of information constituting state, commercial or other
protected by the law secret shall be carried out in accordance with the
legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2. During the post and upon its termination, the Human Rights
Ombudsman shall not divulge information concerning private life of the
applicant, which became known to the Human Rights Ombudsman while
performing his duties without written consent of those persons.
Article 29. Procedure of examination of the Human Rights Ombudsman’s
conclusion
Heads or officials of state bodies, local self-governance bodies in villages
and settlements (Jamoats), establishments, organizations and enterprises
regardless of their organizational and legal form and forms of property that
receive the Ombudsman's conclusions, containing his recommendations shall
examine them within one month and inform the Human Rights Ombudsman
in written form about measures that have been taken.
Article 30. The liability for obstructing the activity of the Human Rights
Ombudsman
Interference into the activity of the Human Rights Ombudsman with the
aim to influence his decision, non-performance by officials of obligations
established by the present Law as well as obstruction into the activity of the
