viii CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE In view of the seriousness of the issue, the Commission has decided to also submit this Report of the National Inquiry into the Land Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Malaysia to the relevant State Legislative Assemblies as well as State Governments in the earnest hope that all the proposals and recommendations contained therein will be seriously considered at both the Federal and State levels, with a view to taking appropriate follow-up actions that will resolve as many as possible, the issues highlighted in the Report.
