Final Evaluation of the Regional Action Plan A final evaluation to assess the Regional Action Plan’s effectiveness, efficiency, and impact is currently underway. This comprehensive assessment will determine how well the Plan has been implemented and whether its objectives have meaningfully strengthened NHRIs in the Asia Pacific region. The final evaluation will explore the impact of the Regional Action Plan’s outcomes on strengthening the capacity and motivation of NHRIs and their engagement with the Plan itself. It will also assess the sustainability of the Plan’s results, focusing on the increased frequency, type, and modalities of NHRI engagements with the APF, CSOs, and HRDs. The final evaluation will also focus on documenting lessons learned, highlighting the factors contributing to success, and identifying any areas that did not work as planned. Based on these findings, it will provide recommendations to improve future strategies and processes, incorporating best practices while avoiding potential pitfalls.
