Investigation into violation on human rights and discriminatory treatment is usually launched when a complaint is filed. Not only a victim but also any third party, including a person or an organization, who knows of the misconduct, can file a complaint. Once filed, the case is reviewed to decide whether it falls under the violation of human rights or discrimination. When it does, the NHRCK advises the accused person or his/her supervisory institution to adopt necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of an incident and restore any ensuing damage.
