Report on the Assessment of the Compliance of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers in Palestine with International Prison Standards sufficiently available in the inmates’ accommodation facilities due to the conditions of the building, and thus the ventilation systems are not good inside the CRC’s facilities. The CRC suffers from difficult maintenance due to the age of the building and the fact that it was not designed as a CRC in the first place, which constitutes an unsuitable living situation for inmates. In addition, the area of the recreation space is considered to be insufficient for the number of inmates in addition to the lack of adequate infrastructure for the accommodation requirements of inmates with disabilities. • Service facilities: The Hebron CRC complies weakly with international standards regarding the nature of the quality of service facilities located in it. Although the CRC has three vocational rehabilitation facilities (bakery, shoe workshop, sewing workshop), but they are not operational, and although there is a library that contains 300 books, there are no books specifically for people with disabilities and it is not compatible with the needs of people with disabilities. The infrastructure for service facilities is totally not equipped to meet the needs of persons with disabilities. The medical clinic needs many medical devices that are not available and the windows of service facilities do not allow enough light to enter due to the conditions of the CRC. • Women’s Detention Center: There were no women at the time of assessment • .Juvenile detention center: There were no juveniles at the time of assessment.
