To strive, to promote, protect and fulfil human rights for all in Malaysia on the basis of equality and non-discrimination, through: Shared Values As an independent human rights institution, SUHAKAM framework of operation shall be guided by the following core values: Commitment Towards protection and enhancement of universal human rights i. Action, education engagement and the empowerment of society; ii. The promotion of the understanding of human rights; Encouraging dialogue and mutual respect between peoples of different faiths, beliefs and values in societies where people come from diverse background iii.
