In preparation to undertake the earlier 4 strategic objectives, SUHAKAM shall concurrently develop its internal
capability, in order to support the implementation of relevant programmes and activities year on year. In tandem
with on-going efforts to improve on various aspects of its internal capability as identified in the 2017 Capacity
Assessment report; the strategies as outlined below will be undertaken to strengthen its independence and
autonomy, human resources capacity and its communication outreach.
