3.11 Compensation Sources Government shall ensure that measures are in place to guarantee those affected have access to compensation for real and personal property damaged as a result of evictions. Moreover, compensation should be provided for all other economically assessable damage, including loss of life, physical or mental harm, lost opportunities in terms of employment, education or social benefits, loss of earnings or earning potential, and the costs associated with necessary professional expenses incurred during the course of resettlement, such as legal, medical or psycho-social.
