It is worth noting that the aforementioned royal decree was issued on September 8, 2022, and was published in the official gazette in its issue number (3627) issued on September 8, 2022, in accordance with the provisions of Article (16) of Decree-Law No. 14 of 2002 regarding the exercise of political rights and its amendments. 5. As for municipal affairs, Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 3 of 2002 regarding the election system of municipal council members and its amendments states that: "The date for the election of municipal council members shall be determined by a decision of the Prime Minister, including the date for the opening and closing of the nomination process.
