Collection of authentic data on different thematic issues is also to be considered as a great challenge. Though the current efforts of NHRCB are expanded to include the excluded and close coordination is maintained with partners and stakeholders but there remains ineffectiveness in the way to attain sufficient results. There is ample scope of improvement through reinforcing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms inwkï a unique kÖg welqK NHRCB-way. Under the charismatic leadership of Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh the country is progressing on many fronts including astounding economic advancement. Government is committed to establishing Rule of law curbing loop holes of systems, corruption and malpractices and augmenting transparency and accountability of the duty-bearers. Implementation of SDGs is important; achieving SDGs is incorporated with Government’s all short and long-term plans, policies and visions like the Vision 2021, Vision 2041 and the Vision 2100 or the Delta Plan which sufficiently highlight on Government’s conviction and determination of achieving the sustainable goals. If SDGs are implemented properly poverty and hunger will be alleviated, food security and nutrition will be ensured, good health and wellbeing of people will be maintained, quality education will be delivered, woman’s empowerment and gender parity will be achieved, decent employment will be generated and sustainable economic growth will be attained. And not only these, implementation of all goals and targets of the 2030 agenda has the potential of dispelling all kinds of discriminations from the society incorporating principle of equity and access to opportunity for all. It is also presumable that successful KwgwUi mfv implementation of SDGs will enable us to combat climate change and its impact; pollution and degradation of environment will disappear. SDG-16 promises a lot more- the establishment of human rights by means of ensuring access to justice, rule of law, peace and harmony for all; that means implementation of SDGs will help building an inclusive society where all citizens including the marginalized ones, the persons with disabilities, the third gender or Hijra, the religious and ethnic minorities, Dalits, Horijons, Bede, Muchietc all will be mainstreamed and none will be left behind. In this way the objectives of the cherished dreams of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be reached and the visionary Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal) will be transformed into reality paving the way for fulfilling of human rights in a sustainable manner.
