NHRCB Member and Chair of this committee Ching Kew Roaza presided over this meeting. Former Member of NHRCB Nirupa Dewan, Thoai Aung Marma, Van Trir Boon, Mothura Tripura, Dhiman Khisha and Yangang Mro attended the meeting. They suggested NHRCB that the commission might recommend for amendment of any act that was contradictory with the rights of the people of CHT. The commission might play an important role in improving the condition of education, health, human rights in this arena. They expected support from NHRCB regarding any type of human rights violation. Following recommendations given in the meeting. were • Reapplying quota for the people of CHT who are lagged behind. • Incorporating one people from each community in CHT regional Parishad. • Arranging several seminar to uphold human rights. • Forming school, health clinics etc. for the people of Chimbuk Hill, Bandarban. 4.4 NHRCB in International Forums 3rd Session of the Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law organized by OHCHR. Participants at the 3rd Session of the Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law 84
