In 1975, we again saw human rights violation. With a view to promote and protect human rights present government formed the National Human Rights Commission in 2009. We need to strengthen this Commission. We are role model of development. We need to promote human rights bearing this into mind. We all are respectful towards freedom of speech and protection of human rights. NHRCB’s initiative of essay competition is a praiseworthy initiative”. Mentioning the criticisms about NHRCB she said’ “Does the work on human rights only include killings and disappearances? Are the women’s rights, PWDs rights, right to work etc. not the human rights? NHRC Act clearly mentions that the Commission can take steps if human rights violation occurs in organizations or against any person.
