NHRC chairman hands over the draft sexual Harassment Prevention and Protection Act 2021 The NHRCB arranged a program on 21 December 2021 in Lakeshore Hotel with the aim of Prize Giving ceremony of the Essay competition on “liberation war, liberty and humane values” and quiz competition 2021, launching of human rights scholarship and online human rights training course. On the same occassion NHRC submitted the draft of the Sexual Harassment (Prevention and Protection) Act 2021. Mr. Anisul Hoque, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs graced the program as the Chief Guest. Mr. Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Hon’ble Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education graced the program as Special Guest. NHRCB Chairman 62 Nasima Begum, ndc presided over the program. Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Full Time Member of NHRCB delivered the welcome speech. Honorary Member of NHRCB Towfika Karim and the Members of NHRCB Thematic Committees were present at the program. NHRCB Secretary Narayan Chandra Sarkar gave vote of thanks. In the beginning, the hon’ble Chief Guest distributed prizes to the winners of essay and quiz competition. In second round of the program, NHRCB Chairman handed over the draft Sexual Harassment (Prevention and Protection) Act to the hon’ble Minister. In the third round, he launched online human rights course.
