This committee will submit a report with recommendations on the basis of the data and information collected. The committee has started its activities on January 2021. It has collected information organization, from the non-governmental organization or and civil society Organization. As per the section 12 of the NHRC Act 2009, the key functions of NHRC is to increase awareness on Rape is one of the worst form of human rights violation. Women and children are the main victims of rape. According to the researchers, social degradation and the culture of discrimination against women are the main reasons of rape. Amid the covid-19 the incidences of violence against women and children has been seen.
