Number of PDLs Assisted Assistance provided to persons deprived of liberty (PDL) consisted of legal advice, psycho-social services, case follow-ups, family communications, and correspondence with the concerned government agencies, among others. There was a total of 1,982 individuals assisted by the Commission for the year 2020. It is worthy to mention that Region IV-A provided assistance to the highest number of PDLs accounting for 23.11% of the said total.
