6 Wave 1 of Peer Monitoring The first batch of peer monitoring was conducted from March 17 to April 17, 2020. Tracking focused on peer monitors were able to monitor fellow women with disabilities in the NCR and nearby provinces (Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Baguio and Laguna). The total number of interviews during this period was 321, with the highest number of interviews conducted in the 2nd and 3rd weeks. Wave 2 of Peer Monitoring During the 2nd wave of peer monitoring (May 10 to June 30), interviews focused on access to services, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and experience of gender-based violence. A total of 507 women and girls with disabilities were interviewed over a period of five weeks. Insights For this batch of interviews, only 14% of the interviewees gave their age (18-59 years old and one who is 60 years old). 46% are single. Other civil or relationship status are as follows: married (31.6%); solo parent (13.2%); and in live-in arrangement (2.2%). There was no mention if those who identified themselves as solo parents and in live-in arrangement were married, separated or single. 55% are with children (average number of children is 2.2) Insights Majority (78%) belong to the age range of 18 years old to 59 years old while 9.7% are below 18 years old. Around 2% belong to 60 years old and above. Forty-three (43) percent are single while 33% are married. Some (8%) identified themselves as solo parent, however, they did not say if there are single or married. Two (2) percent said that they are separated or divorced. Forty-seven percent of the monitoring participants have children.
