Meeting with Kelantan Menteri Besar and state 23 August agencies on the issue of Orang Asli blockades in Gua Musang 10. Meeting with the Director General of the Department 16 October of Lands and Mines on the eviction of residents of three villages in Klang to give way for the construction of the West-Coast Expressway (Taiping-Banting) 11. Meeting with the National Anti-Drugs Agency on 24 October complaints pertaining to inhuman treatment and custodial death at private drug rehabilitation centres. 12. Meeting with Ampang Jaya City Council (MPAJ) on 22 November complaints by petty traders at Bukit Ampang Saujana regarding their economic activities To enhance the expertise of the staff and officers of the Commission in investigating custodial death cases, the Commission with the collaboration of the National Institute of Forensics Medicine (IPFN) and Forensics Department of Pulau Pinang Hospital organised a workshop on ‘Custodial Medicine- Preventing Death in Custody’ on 22 and 23 October.
