The Act on Guarantee of Right to Health and Access to Medical Services for Persons with Disabilities was enacted on 29 December 2015 and entered into effect on 30 December 2017. According to the survey results regarding the status of convenience facilities in 2013, one-third of medical facilities were determined to have low accessibility. The legitimate installation rate (the percentage of facilities that are in compliance with legal installation standards) of clinic, dental clinic and Korean medicine clinic was 60.5 percent, while the rate of general hospital, hospital, dental hospital, Korean medicine hospital, psychiatric hospital and convalescent hospital was 66.1 percent. 71.
