Regional workshop on "Mainstreaming Land Rights in the UNGPs in Asia NHRC Chairman Nasima Begum,ndc, Director (Complaint & Inquiry), Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors of Complaints & Inquiry Division attended the Training on Complaint Inquiry organised by Turkish Ombudsman Seminar on “Accelerating the level of Commitment to fight Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery during Covid- 19 and beyond.” NHRC Full Time Member spoke at the Seminar on Accelerating the Level of Commitment to fight Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery during Covid 19 and beyond. NHRCB Full Time Member Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed gave speech as panelist in the meeting titled “Accelerating the level of Commitment to fight Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery during Covid- 19 and beyond.” The program was held online jointly by the Permanent Mission in of Bangladesh, Austria and EU and Nigeria, Qatar and 88 UK. Mr. Antonio Guteres, Secretary General of UN presented key note paper and popular anchor of CNN Mr. Richard Quest chaired the event. Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed said, “Most of the people fall victims of human trafficking due to poverty and being misguided by the frauds. We all should take coordinated initiatives to prevent human trafficking.
