Activity 4
- Partner up the members. Between the pair, one will tell a story about their
childhood experience for 5 minutes as the other listens without responding
or interrupting, before switching roles. When both are done, each one will
summarize for one minute what the other person said, and comment on
the body language of the person as they shared their stories.
- Ask 5 people to share their experience and discuss how did it feel like
listening for 5 minutes without being allowed to respond right away, being
asked to summarize what the other person has just said, and commenting
on the body language.
