Resource Mobiliza�on and Requirements The NHRC, as a State ins�tu�on, is primarily funded by the Government of Bangladesh. The Government financed personnel emoluments and opera�onal costs. The development partner, i.e., UNDP, has been suppor�ng to professionalize the work of the NHRC through designated programme ac�vi�es, e.g., strengthened the capacity of the NHRC to deliver on its mandate; suppor�ng steady progress in complaints handling; inves�ga�on, and media�on; developing extensive media contacts, and helping to produce a wide range of research studies and policy papers on key human rights issues. Both programma�c and opera�ng costs are expected to increase substan�ally during the strategic period to enable the NHRC to fulfil its mandate and fully implement this strategic plan. Risk Management The NHRC will adopt a Risk Management Policy that will be used to guide its overall risk management approach.
