Dignity and Justice for All of Us
Mr. Vanachakij believes that domestic violence
against both women and children remains
prevalent in Thai society at large. It is a
manifestation of publicly accepted violence,
such as that which is exhibited in the press,
film and other media, as well as firsthand
witnessing of domestic violence by children
in their homes. He worries that this culture of
violence has affected youth and promoted an
increased likelihood that children will grow up
to become abusers themselves.
