A more comprehensive and formal MEAL report could look like this. 74 1 Background: the problem/issue you are/were trying to address, as well as your inputs, activities, outputs and the outcomes you are working towards/have achieved. 2 Purpose: the reason for the report and contents. 3 Executive summary. 4 How you went about implementing the MEAL Plan. 4.1 Data types, sources, limitations and methods 4.2 Indicators, targets and baselines 4.3 Stakeholders you engaged with 4.4 Ethical considerations 4.5 Gender considerations 4.6 How you analysed the data 4.7 Activity/ies and MEAL timeframes 5 Outputs: short, medium and long-term outcomes of the activity/ies, including positive, negative and unintended outcomes. Note: you may not be able to report on medium or long-term outcomes yet as this depends on the timing of your report. 6 Lessons learned that can inform future activities (see Module 4) 7 Recommendations 8 Appendices
