Acknowledgements
The APF are very excited to present this guideline on developing a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and
Learning (MEAL) for National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs). We believe this guide will become an essential
tool in the world of NHRIs and are most grateful to its authors—Dr Jillian Chrisp and Mette Mikkelsen—for
helping the APF bring it to life.
