It knew gender mainstreaming was important to take into account the different priorities and experiences of women, men and people of diverse genders. This meant it ensured: • the planning team included women, men and people of diverse genders, • the planning team were educated on the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to gender mainstream the MEAL Framework, • gender considerations were identified at all stages of the MEAL Framework: inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes (including indicators). 21
