Annual General Meeting (AGM) The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a formal meeting held once a year. It serves as an opportunity for APF members to review the operation of the APF over the past year and enables A-status members to decide on policy issues, hold elections, ratify audit and financial requirements, consider the APF’s annual report, directors’ report, performance report and consider membership applications. The 26th AGM was held as a virtual event in September 2021. All APF members were in attendance. During the second day’s proceedings, an interactive dialogue was held between the UN Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls and APF member institutions, to share recommendations from the UN Working Group’s latest thematic report on sexual and reproductive health rights in crisis. During the dialogue, participants discussed opportunities for ongoing collaboration and engagement. The meeting also provided a platform for APF members to share good practice examples, and to discuss the promotion of women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive health rights in the region. “The value of membership of our institute with the APF helps promote fundamental human rights and share our expertise for a better future.” National Human Right Committee of Qatar, APF Annual Member Survey 2021 – 22 APF Annual Report 2021-2022 21
