• Facilitated six-monthly meetings between the Cross-Parliamentary Rainbow Network and SOGIESC-diverse communities in Wellington and Auckland. • Contributed to the development of national clinical guidelines for the provision of transgender healthcare as part of an advisory group, published in October 2018. • Participated in the Ministry of Health’s intersex clinical reference group for children and youth alongside intersex people, clinicians, a parent advocate, and midwifery and psychology representatives. A broad work programme has been established through to mid-2020. • Advised on the University of Waikato’s Counting Ourselves survey, the first to measure and reflect the health of trans and non-binary people nationally. 28 Human Rights Commission
