IV. Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Materials Developed, Reproduced, and Disseminated Out of the 63 IEC materials developed and disseminated, 57 were distributed to the public sector or 93% of the said total. Other modes and formats of IEC activities as strategies to broaden awareness through communication channels by targeting particular audience to achieve a desired positive result were conducted. All activities in this regard always stood on framework of theories and principles that can model and guide the task of developing more comprehensive IEC programs. A total of 71,250 IEC materials covering diverse themes and presented in various formats were reproduced and disseminated nationwide in 2021. As it has been part of the IEC engagements to ensure the training and learning dynamic is achieved in general, feedback tools were used to gather participants’ response and examined later to assess how effectively the core messages were delivered. Among the total number of IEC materials recipients, 26, 985 had the opportunity to fill up the evaluation forms for IEC materials in which 26,867 or 99.56%, indicated they were satisfied with our materials. V. Human Rights Historical Online Teaching Spot (HOTspot) The Human Rights History Online Teaching Spot or the Human Rights HOTspot has been one of the learning platforms of the CHR under its "Human Rights History and Human Rights Advocacy and Education Memorialization" project. This platform was formed and developed to put forward digitalized education and entertainment (packaged as edu-tainment) for all relevant parties and stakeholders. These hotspots specifically represent landmark descriptions in Philippine Human Rights including narratives of its pre-history and the progressing chronicles of contemporary times. The Human Rights HOTspot has its unique features as a CHR project. The first of the rooms that are waiting to be seen and visited contains diverse objects presented in different art media. A medium for every art form like painting, sculpture, mural and contemporary arts are in exhibit. The art objects have been carefully curated for learners and enthusiasts to revisit, rediscover and reconnect with. This is most a beneficial for truth-finding and fact-checking given the current developments in Philippine politics. Professor Xiao Chua, a highly regarded historian and human rights advocate helped understand and analyze the importance of these objects through his write-ups. Trivia and Quiz are also available for everyone to assess their learning and how well we #WeRemember the history. VI. Online Human Rights Academy (OHRA) The Online Human Rights Academy (OHRA) is an e-learning platform of the Human Rights Institute (HRI) of the CHR that houses several human rights education-related resources for the general public. It also offers Free Online Human Rights Education Certificate Courses which were developed in partnership with different Universities and Expert Organizations.
