The questionnaire included three guiding questions, which were intentionally broad to encourage full and diverse responses: ● ● ● What do you know about climate change? What is your experience of the impact of climate change? How could the Commission assist you to address the challenges you face? Commission staff recorded the answers provided by participants and, as part of the conversation, discussed the Climate Change Act. In general, there was limited knowledge of the Act, which allowed the Commission to provide information about its purpose and key provisions. It was also an opportunity to hear how individuals and communities felt about the prospect of relocating their village, should that be recommended by the government. - 14 -
