Towfika Karim, Advocate Honorary Member Towfika Karim, Advocate is a law professional. She is contributing to judiciary system by working in this profession with honesty and integrity for 26 years. At present she is workingas a senior partner of Shirajul Haq Associates. She served as Public Prosecutor in four national leaders murder case and Bangabandhu Murder case. Apart from that she solved many important cases successfully. Towfika Karim passed SSC from Foyzunnesa School, Cumilla and HSC from Women's College. Then completed Honorsin Political Science from Chittagong University and Masters in Political Science from Dhaka University. She achieved LLB degree from Dhaka University. She also completed Diploma on ‘The Executive Program on corporate Management’ from Japan. To assist helpless prisoners with free legal aid she launched an non-profit and non-political Organisation named " Legal Assistance to Helpless Prisoners and Persons" ( LAHP).As the Chairperson of LAHP Ms. Towfika Karim received the "Best National Non-government Organization" awardon the occasion of observance of National Legal Aid Day on 28th April 2019 from Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Towfika karim is married to Chartered Accountant Mr. Aftab-Ul Islam. He is Founder Chairman of International Office Equipment (IOE) Bangladesh Ltd. and Chairman of Asia Pacific General Insurance Company Ltd. 43
