Additional modules in Web-CMS software 2.4 The Commission has added following modules in Web-CMS software: • Investigation Division module • Scrutiny consultants module • Database updation request module • General correspondence module NHRC Today Software 2.5 The Commission has developed software for publishing of Aaj ka Shabd, Today’s Quote, the greetings on special occasions are displayed on digital signage. Toll Free Number 2.6 National Human Rights Commission launched the Commission’s Toll free number - 14433 to expand its outreach within the country. Human Rights Commission Network (HRCNet) 2.7 HRCNet portal software has been designed, developed and launched on 7 December, 2018. The portal has a provision of online complaint registration and tracking of the case status. The software is also being rolled out in the SHRCs all over India. Integration of Online Complaint Filing System with Common Service Centres (CSC) 2.8 As part of the collaborative programme with the Common Service Centre (CSC) team, NHRC integrated its Online Complaint Filing System with Common Service Centre (CSC) - Portal of Government of India. In addition to sending their complaints of human rights violations to the Commission by post, fax, e-mail, online through NHRC website; (www.nhrc.nic.in), complainants can also send them through the Common Service Centres (CSCs). Centralised Firewall 2.9 Network traffic of NHRC has been transferred to Central Firewall of National Informatics Centre (NIC) for better monitoring of cyber security threats by expert team of NIC.
