(continued) 4.3 The Commission is compliant with the Paris Principles (Principles Relating to the Status of National Human Rights Institutions) and is assessed as an independent and effective national human rights institution. The Commission maintains its ‘A status’ as assessed by the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI).
