Collaborating and sharing knowledge Our members are committed to sharing experiences, exchanging information and working collaboratively to address common human rights challenges. In 2023-24 we facilitated dialogues and took part in a wide range of events across the region. APF Virtual Dialogue on Digitalisation, Emerging Technologies, and Human Rights In April 2024 we continued our Virtual Dialogue Series and hosted a dialogue on human rights and digitalisation and emerging technologies, in collaboration with the NHRI of Mongolia and the Geneva Academy. The event featured presentations from the NHRIs of Jordan, Mongolia, Nepal, and the Philippines. The dialogue examined the opportunities and risks that digital technologies, especially artificial intelligence, present to human rights. It underscored the importance of using technology responsibly, as emphasised in the Delhi Declaration, adopted by APF members at the 28th Annual General Meeting. The Declaration calls for a unified approach to tackle these challenges and promote inclusive development. During our visit, we also engaged with the Human Rights Commission of Taiwan and key civil society organisations.
