Regulations
51 The Minister may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all
matters that are required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or that are convenient
to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.

Repeals, transition
52 (1) The Human Rights Commission Act 1999 is repealed.
(2) Any complaint, proceeding or investigation, being dealt with by the Commission or
the Proceedings Commissioner prior to the commencement of this Act, shall continue to
be dealt with by the Commission or the Proceedings Commissioner, but only pursuant to
and in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
(3) Any complaint, proceeding or investigation, being lodged and dealt with by the
Commission or the Proceedings Commissioner prior to the commencement of this Act,
which is contrary to the provisions of this Act or which challenges any Promulgation
made by the President between 5 December 2006 and 10 April 2009, or which challenges
any Decrees made or as may be made by the President shall terminate immediately upon
the commencement of this Act and the Commission shall inform the concerned parties
accordingly, and the Commission shall submit to the Minister a list of all complaints,
proceedings or investigations terminated under this section.
