According to Chief Ramiscal, this would also promote sustainability because the fisherfolk will catch the larger fish instead of the smaller or juvenile fish. Another device that the agency is seeking to intensify distribution is the Lambaklad.93 BFAR believes that this technology is more efficient for use by artisanal fisherfolk and they were able to demonstrate it in some areas that is why they are trying to strengthen this program.94 They also shared their efforts on Aquaculture 95 which centered on broodstock distribution, seaweeds propagules and farming implements, and fish cages among others. They have also related programs on distribution of post-harvest equipment. In terms of policies regarding the involvement of fishers in policy and program formulation and implementation of BFAR and other national programs, they use the platform in the amended fisheries code which is the FARMC96, which includes the National, Municipal, City, and Integrated FARMC.
