Those that continued to work reported different alternative work arrangements
during this period. Out of 13 responses, common answers include:
● Staff rotations;
● Maintenance of social distancing protocols; and
● Reduction of capacity to 50% of the workplace.
76.5% of respondents that contracted COVID-19 while working during the ECQ
stated that they did not receive any assistance from their company. Those that did
receive aid shared that these took the form of allowances, advance or partial
payment of wages, loans, and food in kind (rice, noodles, groceries).

A clear majority of the respondents expressed that they did not know that COVID19 had been classified as an occupational disease which entitled them to receive
benefits. According to the results, most of their employers (75.9%) also did not
process any request to receive government aid. On the other hand, most of the
survey participants (72.4%) received some sort of aid or "ayuda."
