15 Figure 3: Facilities and Breaks Available to Sweatshop Workers Working Hours and Employment Status For working hours, the vast majority expressed that they worked beyond 8 hours. Of these 23 responses, five, work regular 12-hour shifts. The rest of the answers were distributed relatively evenly from an additional two hours to as much as 24hour shifts. 67.7% of these respondents shared that they agreed to work beyond the standard 8-hour workday. Regarding employment status, the number of regular and contractual workers among the survey size remained relatively close (8 for the former and 9 for the latter). However, seven noted that they were agency hired. The same number of respondents also indicated that they were employed on a piece-rate or "arawan" basis. Figure 4: Status of Employment
