1. Complaints of Discrimination Received
In 2010, the Commission received a total of 2,674 complaints, which included 571
cases (21.3%) regarding employment, 1,459 cases (54.6%) regarding supply or use of
goods, and 107 cases (4.0%) regarding use of educational facilities, etc. In the year,
employment-related complaints slightly decreased, while complaints regarding supply or
use of goods increased, which is due to the fact that approximately 1,000 discrimination
cases were filed regarding the use of goods related to providing amenities for persons with
disabilities.
