End of Phase 3 Checklist Have you completed all the elements of your gender strategy: • • • • •  Foreword,  Description of your NHRI,  Strategic context,  Gender Strategy on a Page, •  How you developed the Gender Strategy,  Description of your strategic priorities, •  Outcomes framework, and •  MEAL Approach. Does your description of your NHRI include its legal identity, mandate, national and international drivers and why it is developing a gender strategy? Does your summary of the strategic context include how it has informed the decisions made in your Gender Strategy? H  ave you included your Gender Strategy on a Page from Phase 2? Have you explained how you developed your Gender Strategy? Have you included in your description of your strategic priorities, why they have been identified as most important? H  ave you built your Outcomes Framework to include sub-outcomes, activities and indicators? Have you indicated what your MEAL approach will be and its link to the allied MEAL Plan? If you can tick all these boxes - you’ve done it! Great work!! Put all the elements together, and you have built your Gender Strategy - now to put it to work. The final step is to submit the draft Gender Strategy to the Board to seek their feedback and final approval (refer s2.7). As the GSDT will have been communicating with the Board during the development period, there should be no surprises for members, and you shouldn’t need to make too many adjustments.
