Girls and women with disabilities suffer from low literacy rate, compared to males. According to the Department of Statistics, the total number of enrollment from the primary stage till the PhD degree in 2004 was 15323 males, compared to 6747 females, i.e. (30%). This is largely due to the preference of male over females in the field of education, which excludes the category of girls with disabilities in particular and impede their supposed right to break into various walks 56
