Therefore the HCADP sought to establish a committee on the affairs of the press specialized with disability, where members were trained, in cooperation and coordination with the NCHR, on the rights concept of disability, which is adopted by the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities The chart below highlights the ways in which the press addressed the issue of disability in general, as follows: The efforts exerted by audio-visual media are limited to parts and programs that do not exceed the period of ten minutes and the issues of disability are not considered issues of priority for decision-makers in the media, in addition to the fact that arts of all kinds are not employed for the sake of disability issues.
