In addition, the Commission issued a Human Rights Protection Letter. The Human Rights Protection Letter was issued by Komnas HAM RI to respond to complaints of alleged human rights violations that have 23 the potential or have a wide impact on society. Throughout 2023, the Complaint Services Working Group has issued 23 Human Rights Protection Letters. Complainant Classification Based on data from Public Complaints addressed to the Commission throughout 2023, the highest number came from individuals (941), followed by law offices/LBH (814), and community groups (210). The highest regional distribution of complainant locations throughout 2023 came from DKI Jakarta (623), followed by West Java (295), North Sumatra (262), East Java (211), and Central Java (115).
