B. The Human Rights Capacity Enhancement through Training and Socialization Komnas HAM RI conducts efforts to increase awareness and capacity through District Human Rights Training in Jayapura for governments and civil society. The training aims to generate synergies in the prevention of human rights violations and the implementation of human rights fulfillment. This training is expected to reduce human rights problems in Papua by applying human rights principles in policy formulation. The training was conducted on 20-22 June 2023 in cooperation with Komnas HAM RI Representative Office of Papua Province. Komnas HAM RI also carried out the District Human Rights Training in Singkawang City to strengthen the capacity of the state apparatus and civ- il society. Participants were not only from Singkawang City but also from five districts/cities in West Kalimantan, namely Sanggau, Landak, Sambas, Bengkayang, and Pontianak. This training aims to increase the commitment of Singkawang City Local Government to implement the concept of District Human Rights in the development of its area. Furthermore, Komnas HAM RI cooperated with the Indonesia AIDS Coalition (IAC) to carry out training for local government apparatuses and civil society. The training aims to encourage human rights fulfillment for key populations. This training is expected to contribute to reducing the stigma and discrimination experienced by the key populations so that their enjoyment of rights is fulfilled. Table 3.6.
