Introduction: Implementing the Mandate of Human Rights Advancement Komnas HAM RI performs the functions of study, research, and counseling in the field of human rights advancement under the mandate of Law Number 39 of 1999 on Human Rights. The Paris 1993 Principles stipulate that one of the functions that can be attached to Komnas HAM RI is to promote human rights through education, outreach, media, publications, training and capacity building, as well as providing advices to help the Government to comply with human rights norms.
