3. EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH SUHAKAM continued to conduct its “Youth for Rights” programme aimed at raising awareness among the youths on human rights and their important role in promoting and protecting human rights in the country. SUHAKAM reached out to 235 youths from different local universities and colleges which was held in the forms of awareness talks, lectures and camps. We conducted the sessions for students of three colleges, namely Jelebu Community College, Kompas International College and MARA Poly-Tech University College in Kuala Lumpur. SUHAKAM also delivered an online lecture on 22 August.
