Summary of the Ministry of Health’s response: The concerned authority stated that the Public Health Law has guaranteed the provision of health care for the elderly, and the Law on Practicing Human Medicine and Dentistry Profession has placed some restrictions regarding children, such as the need to obtain the legal guardian’s consent before commencing any examinations or surgical intervention, except in cases of emergency and life-saving procedures.
