HUMAN RIGHTS MODULE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL Implementation steps 1. The activity is conducted in pairs. The students choose their partners. The teacher must encourage students to choose a partner who is not a close friend so that the objective of the activity can be met more successfully. 2. The students are given the interview form as shown in the appendix. 3. The students interview their respective partners to fill in the form given. 4. Then, the partners interview them to fill in the form. 5. Once this has been completed, the students present the results of the interviews in front of the class. Discussion/Presentation 6. At the end of the activity, the students are given the time and opportunity to selfreflect on the activity they carried out. 7. For the purpose of the discussion, the teacher can use the questions below as a guide: i. ii. iii. iv. Do you know your responsibilities in school? What do you understand about the importance of formal education? What are the consequences of not receiving formal education? If you are given a choice, would you prefer to study in school or at home? Conclusion 8. The teacher concludes the day’s lesson by stressing the rights of the child as well as human rights learned from the lesson. 9. The teacher needs to apply the values learned from the lesson. 10.
