Unit Penyayang Warga Emas (UPWE)/ WE Care Services This service provides for older persons with disabilities or mobility issues. The management and operation is under Majlis Pusat Kebajikan Semenanjung Malaysia (MPKSM) and is monitored by the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia. It offers transportation services for older persons to enable them to receive health screening and treatment, to enjoy social and recreational activities, towards the enhancement of the quality of the lives. Out of the 1476 users, 993 are female and Malays form the majority users of the service.
